Dana’s career in news was truly marked by unforgettable moments. During her time with the top-rated ABC station in America, WFAA in Dallas, she was on the front lines, producing the 10 p.m. newscast when the news of Princess Diana’s tragic passing broke, demanding extended coverage to keep viewers informed. She also served as the senior segment producer for Fox 4 in Dallas, a station that covered the World Trade Center attacks live on that fateful day, September 11, 2001. While at Fox 4, Dana contributed to the enduring success of the number one morning show in Dallas, “Good Day,” which expanded from a two-hour to a six-hour live broadcast each weekday morning during her tenure.
